1938Alfred Munzer takes over a glass factory in Mexico
1943Mexican government nationalizes Chase's glass factory
1958Thermometer factory started in the Virgin Islands
1963Chase's first Disposable Culture Tube and Pipet factory in New Jersey
1968Factory in New Jersey destroyed by fire and rebuilt
1972Thermometer plant opens in Vermont
1977Culture Tube and Pipet factory relocates to Nashville, Tennessee
1983Culture Tube and Pipet factory relocates to Rockwood, Tennessee
1986Thermometer plant in Vermont is closed
1989Steven Munzer joins Chase Scientific Glass
1989Chase's first Vial machine begins production in Tennessee
1997Sybron International acquires Chase Scientific Glass
1998Chase Scientific Glass acquires ProScience of Canada
1998Chase Scientific Glass acquires Scherf Praezision of Germany
1999  Chase Scientific Glass opens new manufacturing facility in Germany
2000 Sybron International changes company name to Apogent
2004 Fisher Scientific acquires Apogent
2006 Automated vial packing machine begins operation in Tennessee
2006 Thermo Electron acquires Fisher Scientific to become Thermo Fisher Scientific
2007 Chase joins with Kimble Kontes to become Kimble Chase Life Science and Research
